Katie & Henry’s session on Jekyll Island was so sweet and special. It is evident that they both adore each other, which made for some beautiful pictures.
When Katie reached out to me about doing an engagement session on Jekyll Island, I was thrilled. Katie and I lived in the same town when I was in middle school and she was one of the older girls I looked up to. On top of that, both of our families have been vacationing near Jekyll for years, so we knew the island well.
We started off at the Jekyll Island Club Resort, where Katie got to open her engagement ring that was once Henry’s grandmother’s (this was her first time seeing it); ventured over to the Horton House; and ended on Driftwood Beach.
If you scroll to the end, you’ll see that after a little bit of rain, a rainbow made an appearance in some of the photographs, which matched Katie’s dress beautifully.
Katie & Henry’s engagement session was a joy to shoot and I was honored to be a part of it.
