This Brickyard in Marietta Styled Shoot was filled with so much beauty, from the elegant white cake and pastel and white florals, to the lace-sleeved dress and the white brick walls. It was a photographer’s dream.
When I started thinking about putting on this styled shoot, I wanted to choose a couple who was truly in love and would appreciate some new photos that they could treasure forever. When I posted a photo on Instagram announcing a contest to choose models for this styled shoot, one reply stood out the most and it just happened to be from my dear friend Amanda. She said:
“I would LOOOOVE to win this! So here’s our story… we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this June! Our wedding was amazing but our pictures were terrible. We hired the best photographer in our town but we found out the week of our wedding that the photographer double booked and we were getting the photographer’s wife as our wedding photographer. The bad thing was she had never done any wedding photography! It was too late to do anything about it but we hoped for the best. The pictures were terrible! We have one picture of just the two of us. Thank goodness my friends tooks some pics because those are literally my only good ones to remember the day by. Needless to say, I don’t have much to show for that special day and this would mean the world to me if we could have a photo shoot for our 20th wedding anniversary! I would seriously be a crying mess if we won this because our wedding pictures have always been something I try not to think about because it makes me so sad.”
Amanda and Chad were the obvious choice for this shoot and I definitely saw a few tears from Amanda throughout the day as we got to celebrate their upcoming 20th anniversary with a sweet & gorgeous session.
